The Meaning of Yod as Ten

The word (yod) means “arm” or “hand” and the numeric value is ten. Now ten is a number marking shelemut, or completion and order, as evidenced by the following:

The base 10 number system is universal. Just as Yod is part of all of the previous letters of the alphabet (as a component), so Yod is part of all of the numbers. It is said by the sages the Yod does not mean 10 because we have ten toes and fingers but we have ten toes and fingers because Yod means 10.

There were ten things created on the first day and ten things created at the end of the sixth day of creation.

There were ten generations from Adam to Noah, suggesting that the godlessness of those generations was made complete.

There were ten generations from Noah to Abraham, suggesting that the godliness of those generations was made complete.

According to midrash, there were ten trials given to Abraham to demonstrate his merit as the father of the nations.

There were ten plagues issued during the Exodus of Egypt.

God gave us Ten Commandments.

The “tenth part” shall be holy for the LORD (Leviticus 27:32).

In astrology a yod is said to form whenever one planet forms quincunxes (150° aspects) to two other planets that are separated by a sextile (60° aspect). The Hebrew word for “hand”, it is also used to denote the silver pointing device used in Judaism for reading sacred texts. This term is used to denote the “pointer” shape of the three planets, when lines are drawn from each planet to the centre of the radix. The two planets in the sextile, being in complementary elements (fire and air or earth and water) work very well together, but the sign to which both of them are quincunx is of a dissimilar element to the other two and possesses characteristics that tend to be extremely incompatible with those of the other two signs. This third planet is pulling in an opposite direction from the other two and would like to resolve, but the astrological energies of the signs are so vastly different that they do not notice each other.[citation needed] Often, this is compared with “ships passing in the night”.

However, unlike with a grand cross the conflict is much less apparent because the two planets in sextile cannot understand the third and it serves to create a situation which can be analogised to a coma. It is felt that the individual cannot see the conflicts involved and thus is not likely to be able to deal with them as productively as with a grand cross.[citation needed]

A hypothetical example of a yod would be with Jupiter at 11° Pisces quincunxing Mars at 11° Leo and the Sun at 11° Libra. The conflict arises between the worldly, sociable character of Leo and Libra which tend to seek inspiration in the world, versus the introverted, unworldly character of Pisces which is too sensitive to be able to cope with worldly life and aims to work in the background serving others. These energies do not interact and hence this hypothetical native would possess great difficulty making the choice between serving others and seeking inspiration on the social stage.

Golden Yod
Related to the Yod, though much less inharmonious and more rarely noticed, is the golden yod. A golden yod occurs when one planets forms biquintiles (144° aspect) to two others separated by a quintile (72° aspect). Because these aspects are seen as benefic, the golden yod is seen as benefic and often as reflecting characteristics acquired by the person whose chart contains it.

An example of a golden yod would be with Mars at 18° Cancer, the Moon at 6° Taurus and Jupiter at 12° Sagittarius.

CHURCH

The word church is not in the original Bible. The word church comes from the old English and Germanic word kirke, (pronounced “keer – kay”), and which itself came from the Babylonian for the goddess Circe (pronounced “seer-say”). This is the word from which we get circle, circumference, circumstance, circumvent, etc. The goddess Circe was thought to be connected with the power of the sun, which is round, and thus the connection to Circe, a circle. In anglo-saxon history, the pagans worshipped the sun standing in a kirke, a circle. These pagan worshippers became known as the circle, or the kirke, then ultimately the church. Yes, pagans were called the church before Christians were called the church. Therefore, church means, at the least, a pagan circle for worship, and at the worst, the worship of the goddess Circe, or the worship of the sun.

It was a direct willful act of English translators in the 1500’s to translate the Greek word ekklesia as church. They did this, most probably, because the pagans who accepted some form of Christianity retained the word church from their pagan circle to refer to their Christian meeting. They called ekklesia church in order to keep a conceptual link between paganism and Christianity. Ekklesia actually means called out. Every instance in your English Bible where you see the name church it should be called out, or called out ones. Now, consider this:

(Exo 23:13 KJV) “And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.”

We are commanded not to even mention the names of other gods! What does that portend for the ubiquitous use of the word church, which is the name of a pagan god? And to add insult to injury, notice how the King James says, “be circumspect” which is a form of the root Circe! Actually the word in Hebrew is shamar, which means to guard against. The L-RD has commanded us to guard against the mention of any other god, not to make a circle against it. See how far we have been from the truth! G-d help us.

Once we know this we cannot do it anymore. The word church is not in the Bible and it is from the name of a pagan god, and to me that means it is off the list of acceptable verbage, especially in defining or identifying any form of the people of G-d. The people of the One True G-d are not and cannot be the church.

This has been done in ignorance by most, but knowlingly by many in the pulpit, who have been afraid, apathetic, or just too pathetic to tell the truth. If we continue to do this once knowing, then we show ourselves to love our language, our traditions, and our religion, rather than loving G-d. Remember, there is a demon by the name of Circe who is somewhere watching and enjoying the game that has been played. To let that demon have any glory is a dishonor to the One True G-d. But there is an even worse crime.

The Hebrew word for ekklesia is miqra. The Septuagint, which is the Greek text of the Hebrew scriptures, was translated by a council of rabbis long before Yeshua came. They chose the Greek word ekklesia to translate the Hebrew word miqra for one good reason: they mean exactly the same thing — called out. Miqra is the word that the English Bibles usually translate as convocation, as in “it shall be a holy convocation unto you” (Lev. 23:36). So in the Old Testament the phrase called out is translated as convocation and in the New Testament the same phrase is translated as church. However, they are the same, but because of the different English words they are made to seem different from each other. The entire concept of the church is based on this willful deception, making the doctrine of the church, as traditionally put forth, a false doctrine. This makes the Apostles Creed section which states,”We believe in the holy catholic church,” a pledge to a lie.

The fact of the original language Bible texts is, that there is no difference between the people of the Most High in the Old or New Testaments. The called out are the called out. G-d has one name for all who are His, and there is no difference in His view. Yeshua did NOT start something new when He said, “I will build my called out, and the gates hell will not prevail against them.” Yeshua was only affirming what He had said all along. “Come out from among them (the world) says the L-RD and touch not the unclean thing.”

The original language does not support the formation of a new institution apart from Israel. The building up of the called out is the purifying of Israel; the fulfilling of the promises to Israel. Israel shall succeed. Hell will not overcome it. Messiah was promising to see to that!

The centuries long attempt by the church (now you really know who that is) to divorce itself from Israel, and even to destroy Israel, is fruit enough to show that what is called the church is not what Yeshua, the Lion of Judah, had in mind. It should shake us to the foundations. One can only suppose there has been a conspiratorial rebellion against the truth. At least the Faithful should no longer be a part of perpetuating a lie.

The word yoni (Sanskrit योनि yoni) is the Sanskrit word for “Divine Passage” ,”Place of birth”,”Womb”(more as nature as a womb and cradle of all creations) or “sacred Temple” (cf. lila). The Ayurveda, or Science of Life, described yoni as a part of the female anatomy. Here the term was meant as a designation of respect for women who gave birth, thus contributing to the continuation of the community. It is from here that the grave misinterpretation of yoni by some Western historians and philosophers to mean vulva or vagina in all contexts, arose. The word also has a wider meaning in both profane and spiritual contexts, covering a range of meanings of “place of birth, source, origin, spring, fountain, place of rest, repository, receptacle, seat, abode, home, lair, nest, stable” (Monier-Williams) The yoni is also considered to be symbolic of Shakti or other goddesses of a similar nature.

Because of its polysemy, Yoni is perhaps the most misused and misunderstood Sanskrit word.

In addition, Yoni is a popular hebrew name short for éåðúï in hebrew. Yonatan Netanyahu is perhaps the most famous Yoni whom many are named after for his heroic actions.

Historical perspective

Lingam-Yonis have been recovered from the archeological sites at Harappa and Mohenjo-daro which were centers of the Indus Valley Civilization.

The ancient Aryans were a community that, through centuries of development, realized advances in a wide range of fields ranging from astrology to agriculture. The accumulated wisdom of this people, as well as their guidelines for living, was set down in an ancient set of records known as the Vedas. These four Vedas bore the names Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Atharvaveda.

These ancient Vedas contain the word yoni in various contexts. The original meaning of yoni was “Divine Passage”. A child was considered to be born from a yoni of stars – constellations that prevailed during the child birth. The Aryans had identified some 50,000 astrological yonis that favour a child’s birth.

The term yoni was also used in agricultural references by the Aryans. A fertile yoni meant a good harvest of crops.

Yonic is to vaginal as phallic is to penile.

According to Hindu-belief, a man has three destinations in after-life depending upon his Gunas(qualities)in the previous life. These three Gunas are Sato-guna (highest virtue), Rajo-guna (medium virtue) and Tamo-guna (Lowest Virtue). The man with Sato-guna enters the heavens(mokhsha) whereas the man with Tamo-guna enters the hell. The man with Rajo-guna is sent back to the earth to again complete a cycle of birth and death.

Further, depending upon his Rajo-guna, a person may again be born as a Human or can take birth in a lower species than Human. For this, his soul passes through 8.4 Million Yonis before it takes birth as a man. Each of these 8.4 Million specifies a specie like fish, bird, insect etc. If the Rajo-gunas are higher, chances of re-birth as human are higher. If the Rajo-gunas are of lower nature, the soul will enter the body of a species corresponding to that Rajo-guna.

The term yoni is also the basis for the Western-used adjective yonic, which is the counterpart to the term phallic. Examples of yonic symbolism can be seen in Georgia O’Keefe’s flower paintings.
